Kurz darauf gr\u00fcnden sie am 1. Januar 1920 das Unternehmen \u201eFranke &amp; Heidecke\u201c mit Firmensitz in Braunschweig. Ein Unternehmen, dass abseits der etablierten deutschen Kamerahersteller Weltruhm erlangen sollte. Beide Gr\u00fcnder bringen neben Visionen drei gute Voraussetzungen f\u00fcr ein aufstrebendes junges Unternehmen mit: Innovation, Marketing und vor allem Erfahrung im Verkauf und Konstruktion. Paul Franke lernt in jungen Jahren das Unternehmen Voigtl\u00e4nder kennen, wo er bereits seinen sp\u00e4teren Gesch\u00e4ftspartner kennenlernt. Die damaligen wirtschaftlichen und politischen Verh\u00e4ltnisse zwingen ihn dazu sich immer wieder beruflich neu zu orientieren. So ist Franke unter anderem als Fotoverk\u00e4ufer und Fotokaufmann beruflich unterwegs um dann eine eigene Fotohandlung in Berlin zu gr\u00fcnden. Paul Franke galt als guter Gesch\u00e4ftsmann mit viel Gesp\u00fcr und Marketinggeschick der das Unternehmen \u201eFranke &amp; Heidecke\u201c, manchen sp\u00e4ter besser bekannt als Rollei, zum Weltruhm f\u00fchrte. Der talentierte Mechaniker und Konstrukteur war Reinhold Heidecke. Er stammt im Gegensatz zu Franke aus eher bescheidenen Verh\u00e4ltnissen. Bei der Firma Voigtl\u00e4nder entwickelte er sich zu einem hervorragendem Mechaniker und Konstrukteur in leitender Funktion, der aber Ambitionen hegt sein eigenes Unternehmen zu gr\u00fcnden. Dazu fehlen ihm weniger die Ideen aber die finanziellen Mittel, Banken die an ihn glauben und das kaufm\u00e4nnische Geschick. Die erste Rolleiflex mit einem neuen Kameraprinzip, dass die n\u00e4chsten 40 Jahre Bestand haben sollte und oft kopiert wurde. Die Rolleiflex geh\u00f6rt zu den ikonischen Kameras und dem Werkzeug professioneller Fotografen. Als Voigtl\u00e4nder die \u00e4u\u00dferlich doch recht \u00e4hnliche \u201eBrillant\u201c heraus bringt, kommt es zu gerichtlichen Auseinandersetzungen zwischen Franke und Heidecke mit ihrem ehemaligen Arbeitgeber. Die Brillant und deren sp\u00e4terer Weg in die Sowjetunion wird an anderer Stelle dieser Website beschrieben. In Konkurrenz stand die eher f\u00fcr die Masse gedachte Voigtl\u00e4nder Brillant meiner Meinung nach noch nicht, dies \u00e4nderte sich schon eher Jahre sp\u00e4ter mit der Brillant \u201cS\u201c oder der Brillant \u201cSuperb\u201c. Die Rolleiflex bildete immer das Spitzenmodell, gefolgt von der etwas einfacher ausgestatteten Rolleicord. Die TLR, also Twin Reflex Kameras, besitzen ein getrenntes Aufnahme- und Sucherobjektiv. Im Gegensatz zu einer SLR, also Single Lens Reflex, muss hier kein Spiegel hochgeklappt werden. Diese Modelle wurde zwischen Februar 1932 bis Januar 1935 in einer St\u00fcckzahl von fast 40.000 Exemplaren gefertigt wurde. Beim Aufnahmeobjektiv handelt es sich um ein Zeiss Tessar 7,5cm f3,8 aus Jena, dem sogenannten \u201cAdlerauge\u201c. Dieses wurde im Jahre 1902 von Paul Rudolph berechnet und von der Firma Zeiss patentiert. Als Sucherobjektiv wurde ein Heidoskop-Anastigmat 7,5cm f3,1 verwendet. Als Vorkriegskamera sind die Objektive entsprechend noch nicht verg\u00fctet. Die Bildnummer kann am Bildz\u00e4hler abgelesen werden. Zur\u00fcckgesetzt wird der Bildz\u00e4hler an einem dar\u00fcberliegenden Knopf, dessen Fassung gleichzeitig f\u00fcr den Trageriemen genutzt werden kann. Aufgrund dem Suchereinblick von \u201eoben\u201c, befindet sich die Anzeige von eingestellter Blende und Verschlusszeit oberhalb des Aufnahmeobjektivs. Die Kamera besitzt einen Compur Zentralverschluss mit Verschlusszeiten von Bulb, Time, 1 Sekunde bis 1\/300. Die Blendenstufen reichen von 3,8 bis 22. Dennoch brachte das Unternehmen Rollei letztlich doch mit der SL 66 im Jahre 19<strong>66<\/strong> eine <strong>S<\/strong>ingle <strong>L<\/strong>ens Mittelformatkamera auf den Markt. Heidecke verstarb bereits 6 Jahre zuvor im Jahre 1960 und auch sein Gesch\u00e4ftspartner Paul Franke war 1950 verstorben. Die Firma Rollei feierte einen weiteren Erfolg mit der Rollei 35, er damals kleinsten Kleinbildkamera und aufgrund der beiden Drehr\u00e4der f\u00fcr Verschlusszeit und Blende der zwei\u00e4ugigen gro\u00dfen Schwester optisch etwas \u00e4hnlich. Vom einst gro\u00dfen Unternehmen von Franke und Heidecke ist nicht viel geblieben. Es folgte die Produktionsverlagerung nach Singapur, konnte aber mit dem technischen Fortschritt nicht Schritt halten und erlitt ein \u00e4hnliches Schicksal wie andere deutsche Kamerahersteller auch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Testfotos folgen in K\u00fcrze. Der erste Testfilm war bereits vielversprechend, allerdings muss ich noch ein kleines Light Leak finden beziehungsweise kl\u00e4ren, weshalb sich ein hellerer Streifen eingeschlichen hat.
